Growing up, my heart for missions didn't start in a classroom; it started with a hammer and a dusty worksite in Mexico. Learning to build houses for families in need taught me that the Gospel is often best shared through our hands before it is ever heard through our words. That foundational experience ignited a fire in me to see the world encounter the life-changing love of Jesus. Whether I was serving in the streets of Spain, working in El Salvador, or volunteering at the local resource center at Pure Heart Church, I saw the same universal truth: people everywhere are searching for hope. These experiences weren't just about service; they were about witnessing how God meets people exactly where they are, in the midst of their struggle and their joy.

As my own faith in Jesus has deepened, so has the conviction that I cannot keep the story of my salvation to myself. I serve a God who rescued me and who is ready to meet every person in their unique circumstances, but I’ve realized that for many to hear that message, someone has to be willing to actually go where they are. That "growing feeling" has now become a clear calling. I want to be the one who travels to the corners of the globe—to Mexico, Belize, and Asia—to tell others about the God who saved me. I am stepping out in faith because the message of hope is too good to stay home, and I am ready to go wherever He leads.
